About – Todd Longley, AKA the “ROCK’N ROOL FISHERMAN”

Get Ready to enjoy a day of exciting, thrilling, and challenging fishing adventure.

I’m Todd Longley, a passionate angler with an immense love for the art of fishing and a deep connection to the beautiful city of Winnipeg. Throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to mastering the craft of fishing and sharing my knowledge and experiences with fellow fishing enthusiasts like yourself.

Being born and raised in Winnipeg, I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by the natural wonders of this province, from its stunning lakes to its winding rivers teeming with abundant fish populations. As a child, I would spend endless hours casting lines, experimenting with different fishing techniques, and immersing myself in the world of our local fish species.

Over time, my passion for fishing only grew stronger, propelling me to embark on countless fishing expeditions across the region. It was during these adventures that I developed a special connection with the Winnipeg City Cats, a renowned species known for their elusive nature and challenging catch. The pursuit of these captivating creatures soon became my trademark.

However, my commitment to fishing extends far beyond personal achievements. I actively engage in conservation efforts and advocate for sustainable fishing practices. Preserving our delicate aquatic ecosystems and respecting the environment are values close to my heart.

I am thrilled to share my experiences, fishing tips, and advice on the best fishing spots in and around Winnipeg with you. Whether you’re a beginner seeking guidance or a seasoned veteran looking to enhance your skills, I aim to inspire and educate fellow anglers.

Additionally, I organize workshops and fishing clinics where I impart my wisdom and techniques to local students and aspiring anglers. Together, we can create a supportive learning environment that fosters a sense of community among fishing enthusiasts.

So, I invite you to join me, Todd Longley, AKA the “ROCK’N ROOL FISHERMAN”, on one of my exciting fishing experiences. You will enjoy a day of exciting, thrilling, and challenging fishing adventures.

"The most memorable fishing in Manitoba I ever had was catfishing with Citycats guide Todd Longley. Todd dove into the Red River to get one of his rods back from a huge catfish that pulled it out of the boat. He not only got his rod back, he set the hook and swam back to the boat and handed the rod to the guests and after a few minutes the guest landed a 25lb Chanel Cat."

Lyle Bauer (Former President of the Winnipeg Blue Bomber)

"My son and his friend and I went fishing with Todd Longley and had a trip of a life time. We landed over 20 Channel Catfish in under 4 hours. 18 were masters over 34in."
